Happy Wednesday and welcome to another Disney news round-up! Today we're talking about Disney food news including all the not-so-scary Halloween treats at the Magic Kingdom, a new dessert and VIP viewing experience at Fantasmic!, and so much more! Let's dig in.
Joffrey's Tea Traders Cafe in Disney Springs just introduced some new coffee art and it's totally cute! You can get Mickey or Minnie art "printed" on top of your hot or cold beverage. Just be sure to skip the whipped cream because the art works best on a flat top drink.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks of August 25 (!!!) and there are some new holiday-themed treats coming to the party this year. New treats include party-exclusive snacks like the Haunted Mansion-inspired tarts (you'll need to make four stops to get them all), a Pumpkin Cheesecake Dome at Gaston's Tavern, and more.
You'll also find Halloween treats at the Magic Kingdom that aren't party exclusives including the Mickey-shaped cinnamon roll (with a Halloween makeover) and a Mickey cupcake at Main Street Bakery!
The 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival starts next week (August 31) and several of the Marketplace Booths have updated their menu offerings! Mexico, The Almond Orchard, and Italy updated their menus! Check out the updates and more food photos at the Disney Food Blog.
The Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience is now open for reservations! This new experience includes a VIP viewing location for the nighttime show plus a sweet and savory snack box. Reservations for dates starting September 8 are now available.
More restaurants are being added to the list for Mobile Order at Walt Disney World including Aloha Isle at the Magic Kingdom (yes, Dole Whip via Mobile Order) and Sunshine Seasons at Epcot.
And finally, eight Disney restaurants have been named Wine Spectator 2017 Award winners including Victoria & Albert's, Flying Fish, Citrico's, and todd english's blue zoo. Three of the restaurants were "Best of Award of Excellence" while the other five were listed as "Award of Excellence."
