Disney News Round-up: Wine and Dine Half Marathon Early Registration, New Star Wars Event, and More

Happy Thursday! We have some exciting news, especially if you're a Star Wars fan who might be in town in April. And if you're a runner we have registration dates for the 2017 Walt Disney World Wine and Dine Half Marathon. Let's check out what's in the news today.

Disney's Hollywood Studios
is hosting a one-night special event, Star Wars Galactic Nights, on April 14. The event happens during the Star Wars Celebration at the Orange County Convention Center (April 13-16). The event features a whole slate of Star Wars-themed activities, plus food and merchandise. Prices are $129 plus tax for adults and $124 plus tax for kids 9 and younger. Tickets are limited and you can get them here.

Early registration for the 2017 Wine and Dine Half Marathon opens today at noon for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members. Registration for the general public opens January 17.

The Disney Parks Moms Panel welcomed 12 new members this week as the 2017 panel was officially announced. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Moms Panel and the 12 new members join 19 other members for this year.

Disney Vacation Club members will be greeted with a "Welcome Home" when they enter the Walt Disney World theme parks.

And finally, Passholders can now register for "Passholder seating" at the Broadway concert series during the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. Passholders should have received an email with a link to register.
