Disney VoluntEARS Donate Record Number of Toys

The Disney VoluntEARS have been hard at work collecting toys at WDW's toy drive and recently made a record-setting donation to U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Central Florida Toys for Tots. Some 30,000 toys, gathered during this year's Toys for Tots toy drive, were delivered by cast members and Mickey himself recently.

Staff at the organization's headquarters say this is the largest donation of toys to date and will go to help some 20,000 children in the Florida counties of Seminole and Orange have a brighter holiday season.

Disney VoluntEARS are also donating around 4,500 hours of time to help Toys for Tots sort through and distribute its toy donations.

Disney has been invovled with the Toys for Tots organization for more than sixty years.
