Disney World for Adults 2011

2011 is looking to be a fun year for adults at Walt Disney World! There's a little something for everyone -- the foodie, the gardener, the runner, and the geek (well, that's all of us, right?)

Festivals and Special Events

A host of special events will take place during the spring, summer and fall months this year.

The Epcot Flower & Garden Festival is scheduled for March 2-May 15, where you can make your thumb a little greener, or just admire the beautiful Disney topiaries.

ESPN The Weekend will take place March 3-6 at Hollywood Studios -- your chance to meet some of your favorite sports stars! Learn more about the weekend's events here.

Star Wars Weekends are typically held in May and June at Hollywood Studios, though exact dates are TBA.

And the much-anticipated Epcot Food & Wine Festival will return September 30- November 15. Visit Disney Food Blog for full coverage of 2010's events -- it's a good idea of what you can expect for 2011.

Holiday Events

It's not too early to begin planning for your fall and holiday travel to Disney World.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will return in September and October.

And in November and December, you can look forward to the return of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Hollywood Studios and Holidays Around the World at Epcot.
