Downtown Disney Foodtopia Happening in October

If you're a foodie, Downtown Disney is the place to be in October. Throughout the month diners can enjoy the Downtown Disney Foodtopia where a select group of restaurants will be featuring 3-course dinners at bargain prices.

During the Foodtopia event, seven Downtown Disney restaurants will be offering a 3-course dinner for $30. The seven restaurants are Bongos Cuban Cafe, House of Blues, Paradiso 37, Planet Hollywood, Portobello, Splitsville Luxury Lanes, and Wolfgang Puck Cafe. In addition, Fulton's Crab House is offering a $60 meal.

The Foodtopia meals include three full courses and a non-alcoholic beverage.
Woflgang Puck Cafe is offering pesto chicken, crispy pork loin, or spaghetti Bolognese with an appetizer and dessert, including key lime pie, carrot cake, or a brownie sundae. Splitsville is giving diners a choice of eight appetizers and 10 entrees with a brownie and ice cream for dessert. At Paradiso 37 diners can choose blackened mahi sliders, a beef burrito, or chicken enchiladas plus an appetizer and a dessert.

The $60 dinner at Fulton's Crab House includes a shrimp cocktail, steamed clams and mussels, or a jumbo lump crab cake for starters, followed by a whole lobster, cioppino, or filet mignon for an entree, and a cookie sundae, key lime pie, or root beer float for dessert.

During Foodtopia, diners can visit the participating restaurants any day of the week between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., and they can also save on tickets to see Cirque du Soleil "La Nouba" with a 20 percent discount.

To make reservations for the Foodtopia event at the participating restaurants, diners must make their reservations beginning September 28 and at least 48 hours in advance. Call 407-WDW-DINE to make reservations, and remember - the number of reservations is limited.

This reminds me of Restaurant week in Charleston. What an awesome idea. We may have to make it down for this too.
