The new totem poles in the Canada Pavilion were dedicated last weekend. The new totem poles were made by artist David Boxley, who also created the original totem poles. The dedication featured the Git Hoan Dancers (People of Salmon).

The new totem poles each have a story: the Eagle Totem Pole tells a cultural story that is also one of Boxley's favorite tales, while Whale Totem Pole tells the tale of the first potlatch, a ceremonial feast.

There are new acts performing in Germany and Morocco in Epcot's World Showcase. In Germany guests can check out Wies N Buam, and in Morocco you'll find Matboukha Groove. Both acts are expected to perform through at least the end of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts.

Another new act - Bodh'aktan - was performing in Canada, but reports say their shows ended last weekend.
