Holiday Cheer At Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground

Some of the most unique accommodations that you can stay in at the Walt Disney World are located at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground where 750 acres of pine and cypress forest give way to charming loops that evoke the timeless beauty of the American frontier. All year long guests may encounter roaming wildlife such as deer, rabbits, ducks and armadillos. This isn't any ordinary campground though and during the holidays it gets bedecks with cheer just like everywhere else on property.

You'll find the yuletide spirit on just about all of the big communal buildings scattered around Fort Wilderness. From the Settlement Trading Post to Pioneer Hall. Ornamental details include sprigs of holly, red bandana bows, cowboy boot ornaments, and lots of loops of rope.

One of my favorite parts of holidays at this resort is that Fort Wilderness Guests like to get into the festive spirit by stringing lights at their camp sites and decorating their golf carts. It makes the stay just a little more merry and bright for sure.
