Shoppers Can Nab Deals At Disney Store's "Magical Friday"

Disney Store is getting into the Black Friday shopping rush this year as they prepare to celebrate what they call "Magical Friday." Shoppers can expect online deals and midnight store openings.

Disney Store is planning to open some 150 stores at midnight on "Magical Friday." Guests arriving from the opening at midnight until 10 a.m. can expect an extra 20% store-wide discount on top of sales-priced merchandise. The Disney Store is also utilizing $10, $15, and $20 price-points throughout the sotres for their items, including toys and seasonal decorations.

For those shoppers who want to get in on the deal action earlier, the Disney Store's online site is offering up a bevy of deals on Thanksgiving. Those specials started at midnight PST November 24.

In addition, Disney is also looking to draw in shoppers in the Big Apple. For the first time ever, Disney will also be opening its Times Square location on Thanksgiving.

Jim Fielding, president of Disney Stores Worldwide, had this to say about the "Magical Friday" experience:

On Magical Friday we expect more than 1.5 million guests to visit our more than 200 Disney Store locations nationwide to get the best deals on one-of-a-kind Disney holiday merchandise. This is the fourth year we're opening stores at midnight to serve guests that are eager to find gifts early, and we've stocked our shelves with the greatest collection of gift options featuring a wide assortment of Disney characters fit for every budget. There is something for every kid and for the kid in all of us, and when guests visit Disney Store on Magical Friday they will find a fun and festive atmosphere.

Happy Thanksgiving!
