Walt Disney World Resort Celebrating Black History Month with Author Appearances

The Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating Black History Month with several author appearances and book signings. The events take place at the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot and the first event is today, February 6.

Today at 1-2 p.m. and again at 3-4 p.m. fans can meet New York Time bestselling author Terry McMillan who is best known for her novels including 'Waiting to Exhale' and other short stories about African American women.

Next Saturday, February 13, fans can meet chef and television host Chef G. Garvin, author of 'Turn Up the Heat with G. Garvin: More Than 200 Incredible Recipes from the Chef Who Keeps it Super Simple.' Chef Garvin is also host of The Cooking Channel's Road Trip with G. Garvin.

Both of these meet and greets take place at the American Adventure Pavilion which is also home to the exhibit Re-Discovering America: Family Treasures from the Kinsey Collection.
