The World Beats of Mo' Rockin Permeate Epcot's Morocco Pavilion

UPDATE 8/29/2014: As of September 27th, 2014 Mo'Rockin' will no longer be performing at Epcot. You can find more information HERE.

World Showcase comes alive with the music and entertainment of 11 different countries dotted along the 1/2 mile promenade. It could be said that one of the most enchanting shows is the Middle Eastern music of Mo'Rockin! Skillfully blending rhythms from around the globe - including Middle Eastern, African, Spanish and American. Mo'Rockin does it all on a combination of traditional and modern instruments, creating original music for everyone to enjoy.

This 6-person musical group set the mood while playing a 20-minute rhythm-infused show of World Music that permeates the Morocco Pavilion and brings it alive with intrigue and romance. Frequently performing with a talented bellydancer the show offers an exotic treat for the eyes as well as the ears. To make sure that you get a chance to see Mo'Rockin in person when you visit the parks, check the Times Guide at Epcot for the current performance schedule. If you'd like to get a taste of these talented musicians, I've found a video to share just with you.

Thanks so much to "celticmusicguy" on YouTube who's channel has posted some fabulous video of bands from across World Showcase, including the Matsuriza Taiko Drums in Japan and Off Kilter in Canada. It's our pleasure to be able to share them with you.

Have you stopped by Morocco to enjoy Mo' Rockin? Do you enjoy the unique exotic sounds that this great Epcot Band shares? If so leave a message and tell us why you're a fan!
