8 of us going!

Hi everyone! I missed this place muchlove
Next week we leave for WDW; me, CJ, our 3 kids (4,5, and Cool and CJ's mom, his niece (13) and his nephew (16) biggrin The 13 and 16 year old have never been to WDW. I had them look at the websites for all the parks and pick rides/attractions they absolutely want to see. Any other suggestions?

This is going to be crazy!!!

Welcome back! And JUST WOW! You're right - this is going to be a crazy trip! But fun, though. Any chance of dividing and conquering? Like sending the 13 and 16 year olds with one adult, and the other (plus grandma) goes with the younger kids? As much fun as all being together will be, that might give the older kids and younger kids a chance to do more age-appropriate rides/attractions.

Where are you staying? How long is your trip?

Ready for this? Me, CJ and our 3 kids usually drive (from Pa) and his mom flies in (from OH) but this year we are flying too gaah and trying to coordinate arrivals stresses me out so.....we decided the 5 of us are going to get there 2 days before his mom and the teens.

We are DVC members but our kids REALLY REALLY wanna stay at All Star Movies soooooo, we get there Friday, June 17th around 9:30 am and go to ASM. On Sunday, June 19th we move from ASM to our home resort, Bay Lake Tower and that is when Fawn arrives with Summer and Adam. On Saturday, June 25th Fawn, Summer, and Adam leave to go back to Ohio and the 5 of us head to Animal Kingdom Lodge and stay in a 1 bedroom villa in the Jambo House (we've never been to AKL) and we are there until Monday, June 27th yay

AWESOME!! I am excited that you are going back, and going with first timers will be awesome!

I agree with Lizzy we need details..where are you staying?? Where are you eating??

Sounds challenging but fun. If I may ask, what made them want to stay at ASMo?

Well, the kids are little and they thought the resort looks fun. We won't be going to any parks or ding any formal dining. When we arrive we plan on just swimming and relaxing. Early to bed and then the same thing the next day. Just swimming, letting the kids play at the playground area and in the arcade. Just chilling for those 2 days wink

Wow! What a great mini-tour of all of WDW! Can't wait to hear all about it, especially your experience non parking it the first couple of days, as well as BLT!

I missed that thread...Bay Lake Tower and AKL in one trip..I am so jealous.

This sounds like a lot of fun! I agree with Lizzy_B divide and conquer when it comes to the parks (at least some of the time) and everyone will be happy! mickey

No - that is soooo not worth it -- we had one last time and it was mostly parking lot anyway!

Sounds so great! I know it may be frustrating organizing big family groups but your kids will remember My fave disney memories were when my whole family-cousins, aunts, uncles- traveled together.
