Adventureland

Tomorrowland has "Space Mountain". Frontierland has "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad" & "Splash Mountain". Fantasyland will be getting the "7 Dwarfs Mine Ride". Does anyone think that AL should get a "Thrill Ride" at some point too?

If rather see another attraction at HS. TSM is fun, but not thrilling, the backlot tour is good but not thrilling, and I've seen LMA enuf. It doesn't have to be as big as RR or ToT, but something to draw people over to that area of the park all day would be great.

At Disneyland, Adventureland has the Indiana Jones: Temple of the Forbidden Eye! Set on the same ride system as Dinosaur, this is my favorite thrill ride of all the parks. It's fun and exciting, the queue it so detailed and enthralling, it's completely walking into another world. Temple of the Forbidden Eye is the best! I would be so excited if they brought it to WDW. clapping clapping clapping

Wow - that would be cool! Wonder why they haven't brought it over here? I still want the Matterhorn. Smile At Epcot, preferably.

It just seems odd that "Adventurland" lacks a "Thrill Ride". It is amazing all in itself but that would really add to it's appeal. POTC is my favorite ride of all time but I wouldn't consider it a "Thrill Ride" like Splash Mountain is.

One of the (many) things I love about the Disney parks is that they aren't thrill-heavy. I have problems with motion sickness, and I don't think I'll be able to handle at least half of the rides at Universal. At Disney, there are at most two or three rides per park that are too queasifying for me. So if Disney does get more thrill rides, I hope they're thrilling because of content, not because they throw you around till you puke!

I'm okay with them adding non-thrill rides, but I am so sick of the hub and spoke style. I would like to see something really unique with an Adventureland theme to it. Perhaps they could base it on Up! The trek to Paradise Falls and all would fit in nicely to Adventureland. Ooooo... now my head is spinning with ideas.
