Yay! I love food threads! yay
That being said, I have different snacks I love at each park!

Magic Kingdom- Dole Whip (pineapple). You can get this on Aloha Isle. It is refreshing and wondeful when it is hot out. It's usually $2.89 so not the most expensive but very worth it!

Epcot- Black Forest Cake @ Germany's Sommerfest! It's rich and soo yummy. I really enjoy eating an early dinner without dessert and then grabbing this for during Illuminations. Yum! It runs about $3.59 a slice.

I do also enjoy a good tangerine Kaki Gori from Japan- $2.50. Also great to ward off heat stroke Shock)

Animal Kingdom- Pork Eggroll @ Anandupur local food cafes $3.29

DHS- Double Chocolate Muffin $2.29- Yummy breakfast!

DTD- Goofy's Candy Co.- A mickey rice krispy treat w/ yummy chocolate ears. Not sure the cost but it's good!

I love eating at Disney! I count calories and run all year so as you can see when I go there it's like a kid in a candy store! Vacation is for trying anything you'd like! These are just a few of my faves at each park.

Those are great suggestions Jess! Really good list.

I'm not a big coconut fan, but if you are the schoolbread at the Norway pavilion is another that people love.

Jess was ready to go with that question! Good answers! awesome

Most of the things I like to get with a snack credit are really bad value. In fact I may be mistaken but I think the most common use in my experience is a bottle of water.

Love the suggestions so far -- you can really get your money's worth with snack credits.

I think fresh fruit is always a good buy with a snack credit; it encourages you to eat a little healthier without having to pay out of pocket. Plus, we find that the amount of food on the dining plan is sufficient to fill our bellies on a daily basis, so we put off using the snacks because we're not hungry. If we use the snacks for fruit in the middle of the day, it doesn't fill us up and gives us energy to keep going in the parks

That said, I'm not going to turn my nose up to some of those delicious savory items in France's boulangerie patisserie!

Another good place to use snack credits is the Writer's Stop. That's such a relaxing spot during the day -- stop in, get a carrot cake cookie, and enjoy the quiet and cool for a bit!

Snack credits are great. There was a rumor going around on another board that in 2011 the disney dining plan will remove dessert and provide 2 snack credits instead. I don't know how I feel about this. When they contacted disney all they said was that 2011 meal plan details have not been released in the U.S. as of yet. This info. came from people from England. Guess we will have to wait and see.

Writer's Stop is back by the streets of America. If you were going to Streets of America from StarTours you would run into it. They have some pretty good snacks there.

All my picks for snack credits would be desserts, I'm having trouble thinking of a real food item that I would get.

Another great tip on DDP snacks is that almost all of the food and wine festival booth offerings can be purchased as snacks! You could easily make a couple of meals out of those little tapas plates.

I heard that rumor, too! Seems pretty crazy to me, but who knows! I wonder if the dining plan would be worth it at that point...

Yup, now I can picture it, thanks for the reminder. Will be looking for it on our November trip....all those snack credits and now a GOOD place to spend them clapping

It sounds like you need to be sure to stop by Starring Rolls too. I think it's even better than Writer's Stop!
