Any Recent Classics?

I didn't want to hijack the "What If..." thread, but I wanted to ask:

Do you think there are any rides that have been built in recent years, or ones that are planned, that will be viewed as classics in the way that Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean are?

Hmmmm.... good question. I consider The Great Movie Ride a classic now to be honest. I think a lot of its magic is starting to get old and stale... but its a classic to me.

That's the problem with the GMR it badly needs refurbing and sprucing up. And I don't mean with the ride equipment, I mean with the scenes and scenery.

the more I think about it.. the more I feel that.. while the new rides are definitely getting more technologically savvy, they dont necessarily have that "classic disney" feel.
If I had to pick one, I'd say Toy Story Mania...

BUT...

ask me on June 3 after I ride the new Ariel ride at DCA (after I ride the new Star Tours of course!) I'm hoping that the Ariel ride will be magical...

I agreed that one day both buzz and toy story will be the new classics

How "new" are you talking?

Tower of Terror is a classic already. That ride will be there as long as the parks stand.

I definitely agree with Toy Story Mania.
