Jess, give it a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Its such a neat ride. Plus, if you ride it with MrHub & Scrappy it will be even more fun!

I'd say Scrappy's under-selling it. I always found it to be pretty exciting, but that was mainly because you weren't restrained. Obviously a ride that didn't have a lap bar for that long isn't too terrifying of a drop, but I think if you're reluctant on drops I can see skipping Splash Mountain. I will say however, that the drop is not as intense as ToT.

I've actually found that ToT is a great ride for getting people into liking drops. Their initial response is usually how you describe: Liking it and not liking it at the same time. And then pretty soon they just like it. I haven't figured it out but somehow ToT is both one of the ones that most scares of people who are reluctant and at the same time one of the best rides for turning people a little more daring ride-wise. Go figure!

Oh and also, Splash Mountain is like my favorite ride even without the drop. I love getting to see all the Br'er Rabbit characters, so if you're ever feeling daring I do think it's worth the try.

I still can't believe it doesn't have lap bars.... What if someone decided to stand up.... They would fall out

Ummmm doesn't splash mountain have two drops...I just want on it for the first time and the first drop terrified me cause I didn't see it coming.

I'm with you coaster junkies... I love all of em! My fav is def RNRC... The flips and loops are great!

Ok so it does have lap bars now? But it also has more then one drop?

Late to the party! ToT and RnRC! I just don't like drops, and, contrary to Brad's pov, ToT reinforced that.

I had the baby as an "excuse" to skip Everest when DH and DD finally did it a few weeks ago (my 7 yo LOVED it.)

OH! And I finally did Mission - Green! It was terrific! I really want to try Orange. I think I'll send other family members on it first Smile

no, becuase hopefully I will be preggers and can't ride any of them... plus I dont do the BIG rollercoasters like they have a CP.. lol... I'd only drag you on the disney ones.. hehe!

Yes most deffinately, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, then Tot & R & R, then Everest . Just close your eyes Jess!

Yeah closing my eyes doesn't make it go away though and will probably just make it worse....I find it funny that out of all those roller coasters that you listed you didn't list Space Mountain or Test Track as one's I have to do

I've done both Space Mountain and Test Track.....Space Mountain gave me and Mase and headache and made us feel like we were going to fly out of our seats so it's not something we necessarly want to do again....And i've done Test Track several times before and I love it....RnRc and Everest are one's that Mase has never pressured me to go on so I wonder if that mean's he knows I won't like them. I'm willing to try Mission Space....just hoping I don't feel as bad as everyone says they do when they get off.....Usually spiny rides don't bother me....I've always been able to do the teacups and the tilt a whirls and stuff at the fair...although I have noticed the older I get the more they start to bother me
