Are the pools getting MORE crowded?

With Disney increasing discounts, you'd think that the hotels weren't chock full all the time. But in my recent trips, it's felt like the pools are more crowded than they've ever been!

Anyone feel the same way? Opposite? And when do you hit the pool to avoid the crush?

Let you know in just over a week.

Joe -- Are you recommending any building for your trip? Love the 50s pool!

Hi bali,
We like the 50's building #3. We need a ground floor room and I try to get a room right on Hour Glass lake. Jan doesn't sleep well at night so she sleeps late in the morning. When there I will go get coffee then sit by the lake and read until she awakes.

We don't tend to spend that much time in the pool, especially at busy times, but the last time we were there the Y&BC pool look ridiculously full.

Joe, your morning routine by the lake sounds nice.

Thanks for the suggestion, Joe. I've always thought the rooms right on the lake might be best for quiet and view...

We stayed in the 50's once right in front of the pool & I loved it. That pool is awesome!
We like the 80's building as well..but mostly for the icons not the location.

This is slightly off topic but I've always noticed that the pools at the values are wayyyy more crowded than the pools at the mods and deluxes. Do you think that's because there are more people? It's a conundrum.

I'm betting there are more visitors per pool at the Value resorts. Although Stormalong Bay can still be quite the madhouse.
