Where are you dining? I did not think Ariel's Grotto had a restaurant...BUT, character dining as an adult is extremely fun. My husband and I ate a character dining meal this last trip and it def. beat standing in line to meet Mickey!

If it seems like a character is skipping your table, they aren't. They have to stick to a rotation schedule. Every character will visit your table, you just have to be patient.

Ariel's Grotto is the restaurant in California Adventure, so even though I'm solo they will still visit me?
I only have a signature book for WDW will they still sign it?

They should visit you and sign your book.

I haven't been to Disneyland but I have had solo meals at character restaurants at Disney World and they did visit me.

This is why I had no idea what you were talking about! Smile Never been to DL, but WDW they visit you no matter if you are solo or with 20 people. Even without kids, we always have a positive interaction with the characters!

The characters are awesome at playing with you at what ever energy level you like. Enjoy yourself.
