Best Disney World snack spots

One place we never seem to stop and eat are the little places, like Gerties (the dinosaur) and that ship thing ( laugh ) at DHS, Friar Nook and Mrs Pott's at MK, etc. We're either too full from a meal or we just don't feel like having that kind of food at the moment.

Does anyone have any suggestions for interesting things to get at some of those places? I'd hate to stop for something boring like a pretzel, but if there was something cool that I'm missing I'd be all over it.

What do they even serve at Mrs. Pott's?

Ice Cream..I've never been there though..I've just passed it by.

Enchanted Grove supposedly has some snack that is really good..I remember reading about it on Disney Food Blog somewhere.

I always like the ice cream stand in Asia in AK...they have great Root Beer Floats.

I happened on that stand and had a root beer float for "breakfast" back in the spring -- yum, so good!

I really love the cream cheese pretzels at Lunching Pad in MK and of course Dole Whips at Aloha Isle.

My husband is a huge fan of the carrot cake cookie at Writer's Stop in HS.

I have heard that the Norway bakery s really good, some say even better than the France bakery. I keep hearing about this Cloudberry Horn and Norway's sweet pretzel too.

Other than that, I'd love to hear suggestions, too -- I only have 6 snack credits this trip and I want to make them count! silly

I have never had a root beer float in WDW. I think I will make that a must-do for this trip!

You think you got into the habit from Disneyland? I always get the feeling there's a "popcorn culture" there. The Churros & Popccorn stands in DL seem like serious business. I always wanted to go and see all the little "pocporn" guys in all the stands. I saw them in an article somewhere.

I wonder when the churros stands became prevalent. I was pretty jealous seeing the cool popcorn machines they have in DL. One of the many reasons I think we're going to go back next year.

I love the frozen, chocolate dipped bananas. Ice cream sometimes causes me "problems" so I usually pick the bananas as a yummy "safe" frozen treat.

OK, so these sweet pretzels, are they like cream cheese frosting that you'd find on a carrot cake, or are they just slightly sweetened cream cheese, straight-up?

I wish there was an emoticon that showed my jaw hitting the floor.
How have I missed that?
