Best place to eat at AK

What is everyone's favorite place to eat at Animal Kingdom? Any place really good for kids beside "Rain Forest Cafe"? We've only ever eaten there.

I know last time we were there we did the picnic thing. But last I heard... that picnic thing is a seasonal thing? Not sure. Might be there all the time, but the variety of the food might be seasonal or something. Not 100% on it... we got the rotisserie chicken. We ordered it when we walked in the park. Picked a time to pick it up. Grabbed it when it was ready, and went off one of the trails to Asia and ate by the lake. It was soooooooooooo nice.

Pizzafari would be good for kids. I don't think I've even been to AK without eating there. Its in a very convenient spot just outside Camp Minnie Mickey. Its only counter service though.

Do your kids like Chinese food? It's not themed like RC but Yak & Yeti has tasty food! If not, I just grab quick service food over by Dinosaur.

I think my two main picks in AK would be Flame tree BBQ and the Yak & Yeti. one is a counter service and the other a sit down so you're covered both ways, and both very good. awesome

My kids aren't "wild" about chinese food but they don't hate it. Pizza they love.

We love Yak & Yeti, but my kids enjoy Asian Food. The Dim Sum is fun and the Yak Attack drink is fantastic. I have some pictures up from our last stop there here HERE

We love Flame Tree BBQ and usually go every time. We tried Pizzafari our last trip, it was pretty empty but had good pizza, salad and breadsticks!

I've only eaten at the Tusker House for lunch which was really good. I have an ADR for the character breakfast there this year. I also have lunch ADR at Yak & Yeti this year. I decided to try there when I read about the cream cheese and pineapple fried wontons for dessert (yes, I have my priorities straight Smile )

They look so good. I can't wait to try them. I wonder if I can order dessert first.

I'd say Yak & Yeti for sit-down and Flame Tree BBQ for counter.

Hi

We love the food at Flame Tree, have eaten there several times. The ribs, chicken, chicken w/ salad and fruit salad with yogurt all first rate.

Many here have touted Y&Y which I'm looking forward to trying. I just wanted to add that Y&Y also is available as a counter service option Menu for Y&Y.

If you're on the DDP, the combo ribs and chicken at FTB is a good deal, thats a lot of good food.

We do Rain Forest for breakfast alot, also Tusker House. Yak & Yeti is excellent. Flame Tree........well, I know alot of people say they like it, and I love BBQ, but we ate there once and it just totally turned me off from ever wanting to eat there again.
