Best Pool for a Romantic Break?

Where would you suggest a couple on their honeymoon spend their pool time. Who has the best "grown up" pool for resting and relaxing in a luxurious resort setting. What's the best hot tub? The best pool bar? The fewest kids? The most comfortable lounge chair for sun worshiping? Are there any more intimate poolside settings?

Well, if I were honeymooning at WDW, I would want to spend time at Poly pool, Wilderness Lodge, or Beach Club pool. Those pools feel very grown up and adult. They have a good vibe. Comfy chairs? The best comfy poolside chairs are located on the Disney Fantasy in adult only pool! lol

Fewest kids? I think it depends what time you go. Later in the evening is better at the deluxe resorts. It is never crowded. At the All Star Resorts you can walk by the pool at 11PM and there are a million kids in there!

I thought this would get more responses - thank you Eeyore!

My favorite "adult" pool is the Uzima Springs pool at Animal Kingdom Lodge. For me it's all about the landscaping there, Disney really seemed to go above and beyond to create shielded spaces, lush environments, add shade. The pool bar is fantastic, though closes earlier than I wish it did. The spas are set apart o little bit from the main pool, and again shielded by landscaping. There never seem to be a gazillion kids there to me, but that could be because we usually go in the evening rather than morning or mid-day. Mara is right there for food too. I can't remember what the lounge chairs are like.

My favorite Disney poolside lounge chairs are at the Grand Californian - they have super plush pads on them and are so comfy!

I don't know that I've ever actually been *in* a Disney pool. We are park people, all the way. I'm thinking of Poly beach with Lapu Lapus this trip, though.

That is what the chairs are like on the Fantasy, in the adult area! Heaven.
I've never been to AKL pool before. I will have to add it to my bucket list!

Agreed! I have never taken the time to swim at Disney.....but Poly and Lapus are on my must do list!

Most Moderate and Deluxe resorts have quiet pools that are usually set apart from the rest. I think those are the most romantic since no one goes to them.

When we were at POFQ in May the pool was empty the whole time! It was great!
