As far as I know most all females (and males for that matter) have Moms. We're one of those things you can't really live without. You may lose your Mom at some point in time, but she was still yours for better or worse. wink

Can't agree more, Kristen! We saw it this afternoon and I was crying my eyes out for a good chunk of time. I lost my mom at Merida's age, so the entire relationship and them needing each other struck a wonderful emotional chord. The familial bond reminded me of The Incredibles, Up, and Toy Story as well, it's a theme that Pixar handles wonderfully.

Also, we got way too excited when we spotted the Pizza Planet truck! yay

Where was the pizza planet truck?

It was the silliest of cameos so far. There was a carving of the truck in the witch's shop.

Ok that was what I was thinking

There is also one other cameo in that same scene to....

I know I'm late to the party on this one but I FINALLY saw this movie on Sunday and loved it! Great mother/daughter story that we don't see often in Disney!

LOTs of Merida dolls bought here at the World yesterday. Seems nearly every register I passed had a purchase going on. Makes me want one. Do you have to have a kid mickey under 10 to have toys?

I would say know no. I have over 100 plush Stitch's in my room.

I saw Brave and I was disappointed there was no prince. J laughed and said I knew you won't like that.
