Cancelled Trip Blues..

Remember my trip that I cancelled a few months ago. We would leave next Sunday and I am having serious cancelled trip blues! Luckily the last week of school is keeping me busy but I just KNOW I will spend the first week of summer saying "Ohh..I should be riding Space Mountain right now..but I'm not" (Just a tip in case you can't keep up with my personal life we cancelled because my son is 19 months old and we wanted to save it for when he was able to enjoy it a little more..i.e. NOT throw tantrums every five seconds).

Today Dave actually said "Why didn't we just go by ourselves?" Huh, well that really grinded my gears because why didn't he mention that two months ago? Oh well..we would have missed him like crazy and probably felt terribly guilty the entire time.

Jan & I had reservations for the week of our anniversary just before Christmas. That is the week she passed away so of course I had to cancel. Not a great feeling.

I'm so sorry, Bella. Wish there was a way you could work it out...any chance that you and Hubs could do a quick trip, sans DS, like Hubs suggested? Like a 3 day weekend or something?

Thanks for some perspective, Joe. We love hearing about your trips and we're glad you're still hanging out with us.

I feel for you, Bella. I like Lizzy's idea of a long weekend sans the little one if that were a possibility! Just to get a taste and hold you over mickey

I love that idea too..I'd have to see. Although, I think if we do a trip without the little guy it would need to involve some sort of beach..and sleep..and wine.
