Can't Miss Downtown Disney Shops

I'm not much of a shopper, so I really don't spend a ton of my time shopping. When you guys go to Downtown Disney, what shops do you make sure to hit?

Totally gotta be the Legos. Of course I never buy anything, but it's fun to look around.

I ALWAYS go to World of Disney. That's pretty much one-stop-shopping for me. Then I have to go to the Christmas Shop to get my mom's Christmas present (and some cool string lights). Then usually I go to Goofy's Candy Company for a caramel apple or some fudge. I used to go to Basin all the time, but I never ended up actually using any of the stuff I bought there, so now it's a no-go!

I'm interested to visit the TrenD shop when I'm there next. I imagine it will be overpriced and kind of annoying (atmosphere-wise), but every once in a while I find some cool Disney clothes in shops like that. World of Disney NYC has a section that's a bit like that and I enjoyed looking around there.

World of Disney is the only "must see" for us, but we usually just wander through most of the shops for the heck of it.

I do enjoy World of Disney, of course I never actually buy anything at the LEGO store or WoD, but it's fun to look at everything, and wonder who buys some of it.

Always go to WoD. I think that was one of the two places (the other being in MK in a shop on the right side of Main Street facing the castle) where I saw a 35,000 dollar jewel encrusted replica of the castle. I want to know WHO BUYS THAT???

I'm not a big DTD person. WoD is too much for me. I get fried in there laugh
But, when I do go to DTD, I love to stop at Art of Disney and Basin. Then, Ghiridellis, of course wink

Wegenerally always hit WoD, Goofy's Candy Co, The Christmas Shoppe, The Pin Trader Shop, and here is one where everything is less than $5. awesome

Generally we take a half day and do DTD, then do zero shopping in the parks (we'll buy something in the resort that is resort themed to remind us of the trip). We actually buy most in WoD, basically b/c you can find anything in there- but b/c it is so huge it does get confusing.

Goofy's Candy Co gets most of my shopping dollar. Are you the big pin trader or is it the kids or both?

We're big fans of Art of Disney, as well. We rarely buy anything, but we like to faux-decorate our house while we're in there. mickey

I love all the Trevor Carltons. But my favorites are the big square expressions of Mickey. He also did some on weathered wood panels that I love.

He's a Performance Artist. I saw him Paint a piece at the Happy Haunts Ball in 2004. He was incredible.

I don't know many of the other artists by name. I get stuck on the Carltons. I like to oogle the Swarski crystal scultpures too.

Did a shark take a bite out of Goofy's surf board?
