So I'm pretty bummed. The Rose and Crown Menu has changed again and not for the better in my opinion.
They dropped the "Sunday Dinner" which was the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. That was the whole reason I went there. I also note that the Potato Leek soup is not guarunteed anymore. Those were the two main reasons I went.
How's the new menu look to you guys?
Not, repeat NOT HAPPY! We LOVE the Potato Leek Soup. IT IS TO DIE FOR!!! Always order this when we go there. Extremely disappointing! At least the FISH N CHIPS are still on the menu.

They still have a "soup of the day" which may be the potato leek soup frequently? We'll see...
I've never seen a menu so butchered in such a short space of time! It seems like every year they are taking something away but failing to replace it with anything! Last I noticed the Surf n Turf had been taken from the menu, that was probably my favourite meal at the Rose n Crown! They keep taking all the great British meals off the menu, before long I can see double bacon cheeseburgers and chicken tenders being put on there

The only way they will know people don't like the change is if people tell them, so let them know! Send an e-mail, make a phone call, write a letter, do something! If you don't say something, they think people don't care. When we went to Fulton's in January and I didn't like the way things changed after they went to the dinning plan, I spoke to the manager at Fulton's & I sent an e-mail to corporate when we got home. Did it make any difference, I don't know, but I felt better because I did do something and if enough people complain about something, it can make a difference.
