What do you guys think of the announcement that Cinderella Castle is being updated with a new pink color scheme? I'm wishy washy on the thought myself. On one hand I love the little pink castle in Disneyland, on the other the pink castle has always been a west coast thing and it is good that they were unique. While I think the concept art is pretty in some ways I feel like it is more homogenization of the brand that isn;t necessary.
What are you thoughts?
The castle does need some love and I'm excited to see it finished but I think they are adding a little too much gold.
Well, 50th anniversaries are "Golden" anniversaries so there will probably be A LOT more gold to come all over the place. I remember they did that for Disneyland's 50th and it was really quite beautiful. I think I still have gold Mickey Ears from that celebrations.
I think I will really like it. But, need to see it finished and in person to really decide.
