Cruise to Nowhere

Has anyone ever done the cruise to nowhere that leaves from NYC? It looks like it would be fun, since half of the fun seems to be exploring the ship!

No, I haven't been on it but I have a friend who has! I think it would be a fantastic way to spend a weekend! One of the things that I like the most about cruising is that I have to disconnect from the rest of the world and it truly gives me a chance to relax. I think being able to do that just for the weekend every now and again would be wonderful. Ahhhh... if only I lived within a reasonable driving distance of port. I have got to get out of Illinois, I need an ocean wink

I haven't been either. I should look into it. I don't live too far from New York. I think it's a great idea for someone who has never been on a cruise but is afraid to book a long cruise for fear they may not like it or are afraid of getting sick. This will give them a nice introduction to cruising.

We did a 3 night for our first cruise and honestly, it took me that long to get to know my way around the Dream. I though that it was a great "starter cruise" because really, you don't want to miss Castaway Cay. I hate beaches, and I loved Castaway Cay.

I would love to do this - I just like hanging on the cruise ship!

I think it sounds like tons of fun, because you'd be able to "do" NYC on either end of the cruise, and yes, I think it would be perfect as a "starter" cruise!

My husband and I did the 2 night on July 13th. We've been on many Disney cruises before, but we couldn't resist this one just to get away for the weekend. Plus, the Magic was in NY - we had to try it because we live so close! It was a lot of fun, but of course, over way too soon!

Oh Prinny! Do tell us what sort of stuff they did for your two days at sea! Was there anything special?
