Day 7: The Not-Quite-President's-Day-Trip-Report

Went to TSM this morning to use our VIP Fastpasses! The park is crowded as the AI press preview was the previous night and today the park's hopping with VIPs for tomorrow's official opening. Lots of starlet wannabes wandering around as well, hoping for their chance at the golden ticket! Then we headed over to MK for a trip to Toon Town.

Then it was back to Beaches and Cream for lunch, off for a hike and some exploration of Fort Wilderness and then back to the gym.

We went back to Boma for dinner (it really is getting better and better in my opinion), and to Epcot for EMH (FYI--Kimpossible doesn't run during EMH, so don't schedule your adventure for an EMH!) mickey

Look closely...This is who we ran into on our walk on the Wilderness Lodge exercise trail!

Fort Wilderness Pony Rides

Another new friend from our nature walk! (I'd never seen an armadillo before.)

View of Contemporary, BLT, and the castle from the Nature Walk. Weird to be in the middle of a quiet hike with nobody around and look up to see a busy theme park!

Took some pics of the new AKVillas while at AKL for Boma. Here's the Kidani Village Sign

SF: I know! We couldn't believe it either! Then the armadillo was just over the top.

Bali: Yep--Boma desserts are fantastic. And it was really cool to see them all lined up like that. The Sous Chef was great, too! He kept pretend posing with the desserts. I always wonder how sous chefs there can be so gracious and fun when they're under so much pressure from the kitchen.

Annie: Weird juxtaposition, eh?
