That would be an inexpensive, fun promotion for one day. How much does it cost to put a bunch of CMs in pirate costumes. I like it! awesome

Depends my pirate costumes arent cheap. I just got a new corset for $60 and that was on sale 50% off. My hat and boots are pretty fancy too Smile.

I was going to say, you got a corset for $60! That's way cheap for a corset! If I want everything to stay in place I know I'm spending at least $250 for good boning and solid construction! LoL... that sounds odd I'm sure, but we did historical reenactment for years so I've worn at least corsets from at least 3 eras.

I noticed that the Disneyland Halloween Party just added a "dance party" with a Pirate theme. I was so disappointed when I realized that it was the California event that got the extra Piratey fun!

Kristen I usually get pretty lucky with the corsetry. I'm utterly tiny so I can get ones that were prototypes or leftovers. Not many people want a 23 or 24 inch natural waist corset I find Laughing out loud. I bought this one on etsy from a seller called Damsel in this Dress. Her stuff is really neat Laughing out loud I cant wait! It is a very expensive hobby/fashion to get into. They really should do pirate day at Disney that would be the bees knees. I have a feeling many of the patrons would come dressed nicer than CM though.

Pirate dance party could be fun though.

I meant cheap for Disney, not for you and me. Smile A $60 corset still is cheap compared to throwing a parade or something. Plus I bet they have lots of pirate costumes floating around backstage somewhere.

Haha! I didn't see that either..I love the blog and the idea to have the pirates take over Disney for a day. Of course if you were a kid who was scared of pirates and that happened to be your first day at MK that might traumatize you for life.
