Deck the Walls - Does Disney Art Grace Your Walls?

I must admit, I'm not much of an Art Collector. Most of the Disney gracing my walls is in the form of family photos, but I've always wanted to start some sort of a collection. I know that we shared our Disney Home decorations at Christmas Time, but what do you have up all year long? What sort of Disney fun decks your walls?

I must admit the thing that holds me back most is probably that I'm fairly lazy when it comes to getting things framed. I have a beautiful Mickey Mouse Print when I first joined D23 that I would love to get framed and hang on my wall, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Help me get motivated and let me see your favorite piece of Disney art that is in your home all year long!

We have some artwork from David E. Doss here:

To be framed:

Framed:

Our luck stinks - we have yet to be there when he is. This year, he will be at WDW for about 2 weeks right before our April trip, and then will be there for another week or so right after we leave. Dang!

Love all the artwork that you guys have....I really love that one for the buckets....The only thing we have on our walls that is disney is our pin boards....they are currently off the wall from us adding our newest pins to them so I will have to add a picture when they are back up. I would love to decorate my house in Disney and buy out the Disney art store in Epcot but I would have to be rich before I could afford to do that

Nice artwork everyone! I love how mrhub has poly-themed artwork awesome

When I finally take the time to learn how to post pictures, I'll add mine too. I have 6 of the vintage-style ride posters (it's a small world, haunted mansion, jungle cruise, tomorrowland, crystal palace, and a WDW map) as well as a signed Christopher Robin picture and a signed Lilo picture. I love disney art!

Beautiful pieces! I love the Tiki ones. David Doss has a great style, those could fit in just about anyone's decor someplace. I really need to get motivated and get some of the prints we have framed. I've been thinking of repainting our livingroom this summer with different colors. Maybe this is the perfect reason to make that project happen!

The one thing I have that I want to get up desperately is my Lilo, and Stitch original movie poster. I have a thing for original movie posters... lol (Which are double sided with the opposite on the back so when the light shines through the poster it comes in clear)

We've mostly got it hanging up in the bedrooms. I have 2 Cells, my brother has 2 Cells and a print/coin combination. My parents have the most, their Disney Share certificate, a sketch/pin combo, a collection of personalised Haunted Mansion prints (signed too), the infamous 'Vision' picture, some sketches of AKL, a Goofy pencil sketch and a Bill Farmer signed Goofy print.

Their room is starting to look like that Animation shop in HS!

Wow, just noticed how different the paint color in our basement looks. Both of the Poly looking Mickey paintings are hanging on the same color wall. They are both in the same room and not far from each other. I swear the walls really are the same color.

Jeff, we have one of the prints you have. Ours is not yet framed either. I like to buy them already framed because we tend to take forever getting around to taking to have it done.

Mase, I'm shocked you and Jess don't have any "HAUNTED MANSION" prints somewhere hanging in your house........

Its kinda tough. We have what I call 3 Area's... which are the 3 levels of our house. We have the Basement which is my Man Cave/Jess's Scrap Booking. Have the First Floor, which is our Living Room and such. Then our Bedrooms on the second floor. My Basement is well.... decked out in hockey and Ohio State stuff. The Living Room was designated for Jess... but I have to admit... its slowly becoming our Disney floor. We have added our pins and such, but thats about it. Oh yeah... I would love some Haunted Mansion prints. It would be awesome! But thats where they would have to go. So it may have to wait for a bigger place? But not sure... would have to go through Jess... so maybe convince her? LOL

Or the pictures hanging in "The Stretching Room". The girl with the parasol on the tightrope was my fave as a kid until the picture got longer and you see the crocodile under her........yikes!

Here are a few more we have. These are in our powder room.

And this one is in my scrapbook room. I am not sure which way you can see the hidden stuff in the picture so I will post both pictures.

When I move in, can I have the powder room? I really don't need much space and am very quiet. And low maintenance! Kinda. Sometimes.

I'll bet Joe would beg to differ on that!

Beautiful pieces, everyone. I really like the David Doss art as well.

You know, it took this thread to realize we have ZERO Disney art or wall hangings, save princess decals in my daughter's room. I think I need to remedy that. I'm thinking some Food and Wine fest posters might work Smile
