Seeing I'll be off sight again 
I'll be paying out of pocket for all our meals. In an effort to save money I'll be getting lots of gift cards from target. 5% off is a pretty good deal anyhoo. I know most qs places take them, but not quite sure about TS. Do any of you have a list pf places or have used them yourself. THNX

I used mine pretty much everywhere we went. Souvenir shops, food and wine booths, Cali Grill, and more. I also used them when we were on the cruise! We booked in Feb for our Nov trip and I got one every payday. It's a great way to save up!

I used mine everywhere (QS, TS, gift shops). We have the Disney reward cards from the Visa and then we use all the money we have in our Disney jar (filled with loose change and singles) and turn them in for gift cards at Target.

I thought I saw somewhere, Target wasn't including the Disney gift cards under the 5% off anymore. Let me know if it still works!

Sam's Club sells them in packs of 3 I think. 3 $50 cards for something like $143. That's where I'll be getting ours I think.
I've never had a problem using them anywhere on property.
Love gift cards. They work great for food and wine. We buy a couple every month and stuff them away. They are a great way to save for your trip. Never had problems using them anywhere in Disney.
I was going to ask this same question! That's great most places accept the gift card. Does anyone know if non-disney owned businesses such as Shula's Steakhouse or Downtown Disney shops accept the gift card as well?

That's a great question that I don't know the answer to. However - if you're staying at a WDW Resort you should be able to charge things to your room on your Magi cBand from those locations, and then pay for it on the gift card at your resort.
We have the Disney Visa and use our points on a special gift card. I know that the non-Disney places generally don't accept that card. We've tried using it in the gift shop in Japan with no luck. We're going to have some gift cards but back up money just in case.
