dinning at Hollywood and vine????

Just looking for some advice, we have lunch adr's for Hollywood and Vine, we have eaten there for breakfast and it was ok, not sure if it will be worth the price for the selection they have at the buffet. The best i can tell from what i am able to find on the selection is that i can get the same thing at the old country buffet here for about 9 bucks. plus the kids don't really care to much about those characters they have there either. has anybody gone there is it worth it or should we just save the few $$ and get a qs at backlot

We went there in May and our kids love those characters so they had a blast. The place was not very busy so there was a ton of character interaction. The food was good but yes its pretty simple food you can get anywhere. They have grilled chicken mashed potatoes and corn and that sort of items. Very tasty but nothing that stood out in particular. We probably wont go once our kids are pass the Disney Junior phase. So if you don't care about the characters than I would try a CS or 50's Prime Time instead.

I had dinner there last year and enjoyed it. It was nothing fancy but the food was good.

I have tried Hollywood and Vine and Brown Derby. I still like 50's Prime time better.
