Discounts?

This is the first year we have booked our resort and tickets through the Walt Disney World Travel Company, we also go free dining thrown in.

My question: I've seen a lot of talk around here about people calling up to ask about having discounts applied to their bookings? I'm wondering how does this work and is it something I can take advantage of?

It's not something I've ever looked into before because we've always booked package with Virgin or Travel City in previous years.

I'm from the UK if that makes any difference to what discounts I'm eligible for etc!

Thanks in advance! awesome

Generally speaking if you have the free dining, you'll have to give that up to get any kind of room discount. That's one of the reasons we rarely get free dining. We have Tables in Wonderland, so we can get a dining discount, so we'd rather have the cheaper room than free dining. I'd probably hang on to your free dining.

I agree with Brad you will want to hang onto your free dining. Because we had the option of 15% off our room or free dining and free dining was about $350 more of a discount. Usually if you call WDW the CM will run both discount codes and tell you what the better offer is for us but usually free dining is the best.

I could never give up free dining, that saves us a fortune so I'll be hanging onto it! Thanks very much!
