Disney announces price increases yesterday

Have the price increases in recent years influenced how often or how you visit Disney World/Land? We visit WDW every 3-4 years because we like to go other places as well. Personally I would rather pay more and have it less crowded, but everybody's budget and needs are different.

We are AP holders and DVC so it really doesn't change much about how we go.

While I do not like price increases, it does not affect my going. Since we are going for 9 day, $45.00 ins't that bad.

I'm not a fan of the price increases, but no, it doesn't really make a difference in if I go to Disney. It has however made a difference in how many Park days I buy. Since we usually only do 3-5 night trips adding another Park day to our tickets is pretty expensive. This means that we tend to spend more time doing non-Park things like resort hopping, Disney Springs, and only have 1 or 2 Park days per visit, but it never stops us from going.

It appears that Disney is going to continue increasing their prices, if people are willing to pay it can you blame them? Strictly from a business and profit perspective I can understand. Although I don't necessarily want to pay a great deal more to go to WDW unless the crowds are proportionately smaller. I would think at some point, even if they make more on the front end, smaller crowds mean less food & merchandise sold. I guess Disney is searching for that maximum price "sweet spot".
