Disney Quotes..

You know in days gone by on another site,I used to love quotes from certain members about different situations that would occur at WDW...I remember one person going on and on about South American tour groups, and how it spoiled their vacation. An old friend had this to say about the persons woes.." I learned long ago,not to worry about the things i can't control. What I can do,is adapt to the situation I'am presented with, and that is what I do." What a perfect answer to their problem..Another one was when a family came back from their WDW vacation, and the father in law did nothing but complain, day after day, so much so it spoiled the whole trip for everyone else..One reply to the person who put the thread on was.." The world is divided into two groups of people who visit WDW. Those who get it,and those who don't." I couldn't agree more..However my favourite is this.." Only those who are willing to see the magic, will find the magic." ...Anyway,do you have any favourite quotes relating to Disney.?.

"Suck it up Buttercup" is my family favorite. I'm not a fan of people blaming anyone for the woes of their life. I've run across the same people that think they are the only one in the universe that the "rules" don't apply to. I can assure you they sure don't ruin my Mickey time. I Have seriously considered packing a small water gun to spray people using flash photography on the dark rides. But it's just a thought while my eyes get adjusted back to the dark.

yay I don't use this in particular for Disney experiences, but at least one of my little gymnasts hears it every practice!! With 24 6-11-year-olds, we can't make it through a practice without a "my finger hurts where I scraped it on my desk at school today" (with no discernible bruising or lacerations) or a very dramatic "I think I broke my ankle" when we take a hard landing, but then two seconds later go running across the gym at full speed.

I always loved to hear "Don't swim in World Showcase Lagoon if you don't like brain-eating amoeba".

Also another inspirational line is, "if you can dream it, we can charge you for it"- I love that one.

One more - "Why should I eat the Coq Au Vin, I am so full"- now say it with a heavy French accent.

For me, my saying goes: "Do what you want, just don't be rude about it".

My DW came out with my all time favorite quote just this last trip.
After 10 minutes or so of being jostled and bumped around inside Darth Mall she proceeded to say (not in an indoors voice) "Calm down everyone it's only StarWars" eek

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible." My husband has the large picture of Walt walking on swamp land with a "vision" of the castle behind him. IMAGINE is on the bottom. He had all his choir kids sign it from the last trip and it hang in front of the rehearsal room where they can all see it.

I also love Randy Pausch's book THE LAST LECTURE and as he worked for Disney, he has some great lines that I still quote to this day.
