I haven't seen the water pageant so I'll leave that one alone, and instead I'll knock a point off Fantasmic, although more for the horrendous wait time beforehand rather than the show itself (although I still prefer Illuminations and Wishes to Fantasmic anyway)

What is with all the Fantasmic hate? I think it is the only truly "Disney show" - it actually has a story with a moral, cast members actually acting, music, everything that makes Disney great.

For me it is not a hate of the show at all. I really like it. What I hate about it is the wait for it and even worse is the exit out of it. When it was shown nightly we never missed it. Now we only go if we are with someone who has never seen it.

I wouldn't describe it as "hate." In fact I love all of these, but Fantasmic is probably my least favorite. I don't want to make Caitie mad though so I'll ding Wishes instead!

Okay, I'll knock 1 off of Illuminations. I think you have to be in just the right spot to see it right, and that can be hard at times.

It was going to be either Electrical Water Pageant or Fantasmic. I haven't seen either. I never know when the Water Pageant is on, and therefore always miss it. I have a "no more than 15min wait for any ride" rule so I've never been to see Fantasmic yet.
I like the theme and story for Fantasmic and since someone had to go, the water pageant it is.

Sorry I didn't get on here sooner - I would have helped Caitie save Fantasmic.
Never seen the water pageant - and I really just have "meh" feelings about Illuminations. I'm with Caitie - I don't get the globe thing - it feels like four minutes of dead time to me.
I love Fantasmic, but admit the wait time does detract from it.
My personal favorite is Wishes -- it just screams Disney to me -- then again, so does Fantasmic, but at least you don't have to wait forever in huge crowds before Wishes!

I think Illuminations benefited from who was logging in. I suspect if we ran it several times Wishes and Illuminations would alternate winning based on who happened to be busy at the time.
