Nolan and I are trying to plan a Disneyland wedding at Grand Californian for June 18, 2016 and we are both getting tired treading water we feel like were going to drown!!!! I need help any way you guys can help me. A gofundme page anything you guys can suggest please. The part that we really need help with is how to pay the 2,000 deposit to guarantee our location.
Do either of your parents have money to help? That's a great place to start.
You can do a gofundme page, but honestly Disney Weddings are one of the most expensive weddings to have. I do not recommend borrowing money to pay for it. While I would've loved a Disney Wedding, $50000 just wasn't feasible for us. I saw that much money because if I had everything in a Disney wedding I had at my actual wedding, it would've cost that much.
Other than asking your family and friends, I don't really know any other options. Maybe think of a part time gig where you can make quick cash? Babysitting, tutoring, etc?

I don't think a "gofund" me page to pay for your wedding is the way to go. I was going to say, if you can't afford the down money for the deposit, I think your getting in over your head to begin with. We would all like a Disney wedding, but going into a marriage in major debt is not a way to start. We have had several couple on the forum do Disney theme weddings. Why not look into that. Just my opinion.

Does it have to be next year? How about holding off a year or two to save up the money? Getting a part time job is a good idea. Put each paycheck in an account designated just for the wedding.
Something to think about - If you are having trouble coming up with the deposit, will you be able to pay the balance in less than a year?
We talked about it and that's what were going to do. 2017 or 2018, our parents aren't willing to help and they think we are stupid for wanting to do a Disney Wedding to begin with. We will save up and have a blast. Thanks for all the input <3
Well I am marrying him after his graduation from the Air Force. I am now trying to figure out something cute to do in the room for a surprise. October next year will be our Honeymoon!!!!! I want some way to surprise him. He loves Star Wars like a whole bunch and I was looking on Disney Floral and Gifts but it all looks like its more women oriented then men. Do you guys have any suggestions?
You are taking your honeymoon before your wedding? Wedding in 2017 or 2018? I'm not sure I'm following.
No we wanted to do a Disney Wedding for the whole family but we do not have the funds at the moment so after his graduation from Basic with the Air Force we are having a courtroom wedding. 2017 or 18 would be our actual vows and wedding dress with the whole family. We will be married already.
Ahhhhhh I see. Good idea going for the Disneymoon instead for now. 
Personally, once I start saving for something I think it's so fun! It becomes a challenge to me to find all the way I would possibly save the money or save while saving money. We LOVE the Disney Visa card and use it like crazy before our trips (always making sure to pay off the balance of course. Otherwise you save NO money with that interest rate.) Then we use the points for meals or souvenirs. We use it on anything we would normally be buying and ditch the debit card/checks where we can. Then once the trip is over we hardly use it, until we know we're going again!
