Do Tweens Spend More Money Than Adults?

Tweens must have an amazing amount of buying power, given how much Disney caters to them. I was hooked on Disney long before Tween age, and even when I was that age, I still preferred the old-school Disney fare. I wonder if that's just how they hook them?

Well, in effect, the adults' buying power is heavily influenced by the tweens in their lives, surely. So, yes, tweens probably do--when coupled with their control over their parents' spending--have superior buying power.

What do you mean by "old-school" disney fare?

I know that's got to be how 90% of video game machines and video games get sold! The power of tween influence over the people that make the money.

I think video games have become much more mainstream than they used to be. College kids account for a lot of them too I think.
