Do you get a souvenir from each trip?

As a family we always get something at the end of the day from whatever park we are at. Do you have a favorite souvenir or something you have to get each time? We usually get somekind of drinkware, plush toy, and ALWAYS when we leave MK get a balloon and lollypop.

We try if they have any to get something from the Disney resort we stay at. We have magnets, mugs from Wilderness Lodge. We have artist drawn pics from Port Orleans Riverside, Yacht & Beach Club. Wish the resorts would have more of their own souvenirs. They make it so special and something you always think fondly of.

Usually every trip results in a coffee mug T-shirt and whatever I can collect from going to the Welcome Home Wednesday DVC meeting at Atlantic Dance Hall (usually a hat). And I should say that is a minimumand usually it's a couple of each Smile .

I usually get a pin from every resort I've stayed at. I want to try and start to back fill from places that I stayed as a kid.

T-shirts are the preferred treat, but magnets adorn my 'fridge and I have several mugs and a baseball cap. Oh, and a promo windbreaker, two champagne flutes and several pair of boxer shorts. I get what looks good.

Champagne and boxers . . . Is that TMI?

It slipped my mind but pins are the one thing that I usually get quite a few of. Kristens post is what jarred my memory.

As long as you don't share pics, we're good! laugh laugh laugh

Like Kristen, we get a pin from the resort, and I always get a pin with the year. Oh, and about a dozen other pins just for good measure. And a Christmas ornament or 2. Or 3.

We don't discuss the damage I do at the World of Disney. eek

I'd like to get more t shirts than I have. But we usually stick with silhouettes, and I like some of the neat patterned stuff, especially around Christmas. Last year I bought a scarf in the holiday patchwork pattern, and I always get compliments on it!

Speaking of souvenirs, a few years ago, they had bucket hats with what I think of as the "Polo Mickey" on them - you know, the little embroidered outline of MM. I didn't get one when I should have, and now I can't find them. IF you are in WDW and IF you see these, please let me know where??? I still want one for summer and beach fun. Thanks!

Pins, t-shirts, mugs and towels. Mugs are great because a lot of times they discontinue certain ones like the wilderness lodge one. We are getting quite the collection now.

I never plan on bringing home a souvenir, but I usually end up with something. In November, in addition to the several souvenirs I brought for poor hubby who couldn't come along, I got myself a F&W Festival cookbook. In 2010 we got a picture frame that I meant to use with a photo taken in Disney World but haven't gotten around to it yet. (Photos weren't good enough. Hope to get better ones next time.) The visit before that one it was a Christmas ornament and a T-shirt.

I always get Disney cookware and the plastic dishes. (: When my boyfriend & I went in October we were in MK on our last night and we were about to leave. we only had $20 left and he told me I could get whatever souvenir I wanted and I went into the Emporium and got a cute little kitchen timer shaped like Mickey. its my favorite thing. (:

I just started doing this! It's a nice way to remember what resorts you've stayed at.

I also always get a picture frame, a photo album, and 2 christmas ornaments. I somehow also end up with a mug and a piece (or six pieces) of artwork. Yes, I have a problem, lol! laugh

It depends. I like to get something from each trip but not necessarily something from every park I visit. It's usually geared towards something I am collecting... like Cheshire Cat stuff or Alice in Wonderland. Because we have Disneyland here in California you can find a lot of the same things here so I don't need to buy a lot to take back on the plane with me. I would LOVE resort merchandise but they seemed to have stopped that? I can never find anything unless it's from the Deluxe Resorts. I would love to have something from Port Orleans and Caribbean Beach and All-Star Movies but couldn't find a darn thing. I'm not a pin collector so I don't like to buy those. I am mystified as to why all the resorts don't have merchandise specifically for them. Saddens me. My pictures are my only memories.

The only resort merchandise Port Orleans & Caribbean Beach have are the artist drawn pictures. They are really good. Wish they had hats, t-shirts, and bring back the magnets!

We always get the refillable mugs. The kids usually get some toys from the parks. One year we bought diapers at MK. Surprisingly they didn't cost that much. Most of our shirts I buy online before we go on vacation.
