I listen to Pandora these days, but I'm not terribly wild about it. Have any of you used last.fm or playlist.com or any of that stuff?

I really liked Pandora but they outlawed it in Canada, so now I use live365.com or just a radio station that I like.

Why did outlaw Pandora??
We like Pandora..I listen to it with the kids in my class a lot. We also have last.fm on our XBox Live. I like that a lot.

It's the same licensing issue that Hulu and a few other broadcasting sites that many other sites are having. It's truly dumb.

Bella, the ways that video/audio content is licensed is truly asinine. If you go to YouTube and look around long enough you'll come across some videos that are "Not available in your country due to Copyright Issues with blah blah." Now take that and imagine that you had it on all kinds of services you take for granted and that's what the rest of the world experiences. Sometimes they're available in other places (for example, the Daily Show isn't available on Comedy Central.com in other countries, but there's another website that does offer it), but either way it's just frustrating.

Ahh that makes sense. I loooove Hulu..but I had that they have started charging for some things now.

Hi,
I should try live365 as well but I currently use Shoutcast radio through Winamp. The station I'm currently listening to is Eagle 181.fm classic rock.

Way behind here as usual - I love Pandora! Just started listening to it through our Blu Ray streaming thingy, Netflix-y whatcha-callit. Anyway. I can listen to classical music on it, which is awesome, because our public radio station here in Orlando went to an all talk format. SRSLY.

My biggest complaint with Pandora is variety. I get the same 25-30 songs VERY frequently.
