Do you think DVC should keep expanding?

I love DVC and hope to be able to buy in one day..however, I feel like they have really blown up in the past few years. Those of you who have DVC do you think it's getting "too big"? Or are you happy with all the expansion?

Also, where do you think they'll go next? I'd love to see a Poly DVC wing..that would totally be awesome.

I dont have a problem expanding at all. Just means more places we could go. As for the expanding. I see a Poly in the future as well. I mean... were getting the one in Hawaii. But the biggest thing id like to see would be the points going down a bit for the cruises and some other places.

Yup... but its pretty expensive. Here is an example.

For 140 points we can take our whole family and stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. 2 Room Deluxe. Same points? One person can go on a 5 day cruise. Thats just an example... and the 140 is during non-peak times.

I do not really mind Disney building more DVC resorts. As Mase said, more places to stay! However, I really do not care much for the thought of building at the Poly. I would hate to see them build anything taller than the buildings already there. Also it seems to me that the existing buildings already have the best location as far as views go.

Not high at all 140 points gets you a room at AK Lodge whole family.
140 points on a cruise has all included 3 meals, any other food all the time, entertainment, Castaway Cay shall I go on. When you think about what is included you then realize it is not so bad.

In regards to more DVC rooms. It is great. Stayed at Bay Lake Towers (Contempoary) 3 BR, 2 floors and it had 2 story windows overlooking Magic Kingdom. Coming soon Grand Floridian DVC looks real nice. Poly might be difficult due to room. Height would depend on how it looks. Go to Vero Beach it is great.
BTW using points on non DVC places in WDW can be cheaper. mickey

It looks like they're going to Grand Floridian next. yay

I'd love to see them do a Poly resort but GF is next best thing.

As for them expanding, I think with the Jim Lewis fiasco in Alauni, they aren't going to be doing too much off-site expansion for a while. That's fine with me cause IMO Disney is going to get themselves into a pickle if they keep building in traditional TS locations. I like DVC but they've got alot to learn about competing with the big guys like Marriott and Wyndham who don't seem to lose money on any projects and have much more experience with the timeshare product.
