Hello All!!
I'm still alive, I saw the thread and I thought maybe I should explain. I've had a horrible week and I'm still coming to terms with what has happened.
I am absolutely devastated to tell you all that after 12 years and 7 months, I was told I am no longer a "right fit" for the Disney Stores. I lost my job and I am now unemployed! 
This happened to my Regional Director last September, also I know of 6 other store managers in this area with tenure of more than 10 years each that this has happened to these past couple months. Also, my District Manager was demoted to an Area Manager, and then demoted again to a Store Manager.
One year ago, the stores hired a new VP of Store Operations and she has really cleared out the tenured cast members (not only in the stores but in our headquarters as well) and replaced them with people from her former companies (Bath and Body Works and Lucky Brand Jeans).
It's been tough to deal with.. and seeing Disney stuff makes me sad.. I'm sure that will pass eventually, after all.. I loved Disney before I worked for them right? Besides, I dont blame "Disney" but the new management at Disney Store is another story.
It's only been THREE days of work that I would have missed (because I was scheduled off this weekend anyway) and I feel like it's been WEEKS. I miss it TERRIBLY and I dont know what to do with myself.
I'm sure I'll be back to my normal self sometime soon...
