Draft or Bottle Beer...

Ok, This is a serious dilemma here...My local inn recently got in Budweiser in draft, but it tastes completely different to the bottled Budweiser...Why?...I dunno...Anyway to all you beer loving fans out there...When at Disney do you prefer bottled beer or draft.?..And do you find a difference in taste between the two of the same beers.. awesome

DH and our friends will take draft over the bottle any time, if it's the beer they want. Apparently, as it was explained to me, there is a necessary amount of carbonation needed to bottle beer, and even more to put it into the can. The draft is the purest form served. Anyone out there with a different explanation? mickey

Draft over bottle any day of the week! Yes there is a difference at times, some rather large, in the flavor of beers from bottle to draft. Drafts can also taste different depending on what they are using to tap the keg's with, CO2 or a mix.

I prefer bottled. Better QC. Unless I'm at a really good tap house.

Hmmm, not really a huge drinker but I do like the odd beer here and there. It's more a question of what I'm feeling like, but it's got to be cold, cold, cold. I prefer something lighter and not too heavy, refreshing. But, all that being said some beers defiantly taste better on tap, but never found never found my new favourite 'Bud'66' on draft yet.

Belgian or German is right up my alley. I rarely drink American mass produced beers. We have some great breweries in NE Ohio. Bottled and draft doesn't matter to me. cheers!

I prefer bottled over draft. It always tastes the same, and I never have to worry about when was the last time they cleaned the taps or lines.

I'm not a fan of beers/ales/lagers - I prefer Jack w/ginger to be honest. Beers bloat me out and I feel fatter than normal!

If I do drink, it will be bottles as I can stop drinking them more easily than pints and drafts

Weight Watchers says (I am moaning) that wine is more points than a lighter beer. I can have two Bud Light 55 or Miller 64 for one point. I just put lime or lemon in it and tell myself it's a shandy. I do love wine (we have family in Chile too, so we get some nice ones), but it seems to hit harder than beer, and again the sugar level is higher so so are the points.

Now DH and his best bud are the so-dark-is-the-beer-you-have-to-chew-it devotees, and my GF (wife of DH's buddy) drinks her wine red, warm, and so-dry-it-sucks-the-spit-from-your-mouth. So I just pour my "bubbly water" into a glass that you can't see thru when they aren't looking.

You do what you can with what you have to make it work so that you still can tomorrow.

I am a bud drinker, and I prefer a bottle. Domestic tap beer = a headache. How clean are the lines they are using? At WS however, I enjoy bass ale, a black and tan, or a Spaten. That said, in the evening at home, I prefer an Australian shiraz, or an Oregon pinot noir.

Beer or ale should always be draft, but some lagers do taste better from the bottle.

As it is still hot ish, I'm for cocktails or g&t right now....

Well tapped beer is always going to be better than bottled. And good bottled beer is always going to be better than badly tapped beer. When they are both done well, tapped will win. I can't stand when I order a tap beer and its 90% head, or no head at all, or skunky, or whatever.

IMVHO, just like wine, some of the best beer in the world is coming out of California. Anyone who has ever had any of the Russian River Brews will know what I am talking about.

DH brews his own beer so he will always agree with draft awesome However, if we go out to a place with no draft IPAs, he will probably get one in a bottle
