Yes, they are all closing. Joy and I were just at the one in Times Square yesterday and they were clearing everything out 25%-40% off.
In fact Joy picked up the new Jonas Brothers cd at 25% off.
I wonder what they'll do with all that space in Times Square too. There's also one a bit farther downtown at Union Square, also prime real estate.

Great question. It will be interesting to see if the prime real estate in NYC starts dropping in price due to the physical difference caused by financial markets collapsing (e.g. so many firms closing, and therefore so many people moving in droves out of the financial district).

That place is huuuuge! Is it close enough to Pleasure Island to make it part of the re-vamp?
I can't think of anything other than a giant music store (or a Wal-Mart) to fill that space.
