Easter Eggs in "Up"

I just put this up on DisMarks, but I thought I'd post it here too since it's kind of fun. Slashfilm did a list of interesting hidden trivia in "Up", some of it is kind of interesting:

Great article, thanks for linking it.

I always try to locate the number A113 in all Pixar movies. I missed this one on the courtroom door.

I would advise anyone to go see Up by the way. Bring your Kleenex though. It's a bittersweet film and it's quite poignant.

I thought it was great. I like all the Pixar movies, but this one was upper echelon for me.

I pretty much sobbed a couple of times. They get you from the start. Even cried during Partly Cloudy. Maybe it's hormones... Wink

If I would complain about anything it would be that it was TOO sad -- I'm not a fan of sad movies, and this one certainly got to me. Maybe it's because I'm getting married in less than two months and it was a bit too much of a reminder of our inevitable mortality, but other than that it was a very well done movie!

It's definitely got a melancholy theme although I think that makes the story all the more compelling. I can definitely see how you might not be at the particular moment in your life where you're most interested in analyzing that particular message. silly

I really just thought everything about it was good. I even loved Partly Cloudy, the short that preceded it.

I really enjoyed it. Thanks for linking to that cool article!!

I thought UP was very sad, but really interesting. It feels like Disney/Pixar have been experimenting with some risky characters lately and it's really been paying off. It feels like the right time to return to the Toy Story franchise, but they've also established a good precedent for whatever they come up with next.

I agree with teacherdrama COMPLETELY. I cried several times during the movie...but it was still an amazing movie!

Toy Story 2 was fairly melancholy at parts if I remember correctly?

Toy Story 2 was, but not NEARLY as sad as Up.

Agreed. They should put a warning on that movie! But I agree with admin that the characters were fascinating.
