Eat to the Beat concerts are SO much better than Flower Power concerts! mickey Although I do find it strange that Sugar Ray is there... Hmm... It's like when they started putting The Cosby Show on Nick at Nite and TV Land... I start to feel old.

Wait..shouldn't he be busy hosting Extra or something?!? Or did that gig fall through?

I'm really hoping Sister Hazel performs again. I missed them the last two years.

I think they're awesome! I'll be living in Orlando by the time the Food and Wine fest starts, so I won't miss them this year. Smile Here's hoping they'll perform again. Smile

Another newbie here. Thanks for all the updates. Can't wait to plan my trip in Oct. I caught Night Ranger last year... excellent! Wish they were coming back this year but it looks like they are touring all year with Journey.

Welcome!! We saw Night Ranger 2 years ago during F&W. My favorite last year was Roger Hodgson. Hoping he might return this year in early October.

Taylor Dayne 9-29 to 10-2 (not certain of 9-29 date, as F&W begins 9-30)

"Give a Little Bit"... classic!

Any info yet on who may be playing 10/21? Looks like I'll be down that day or a week earlier so I might be there for Starship.

Welcome to the boards ATLDawg! I'm guessing based on the name you live in Atlanta?

Thanks Brad! Yes, I live in Atlanta. In the process of planning an annual guy trip to Orlando. Sounds crazy, but every October we head down to Orlando for HHN and F&W Fest. It's only April and I'm getting a little antsy... guess that's why I'm here!

Welcome, ATLDawg! My husband is from the Atlanta area, and we lived there for five years before escaping the traffic madness and moving to Orlando. We're glad to have you here. We love food and the F&W, so I think you'll love us mickey

Thanks Lizzy. Yeah I wish I could pack up and move to sunny Florida too, but I don't think my wife would agree to it. She's a Colorado gal and doesn't fair too well with heat and humidity.

That's tough! Although I find it more bearable here than further south. We do at least get some cool weather. We actually met living here (both transplants), moved to Atl for five years, before I was transferred back here with my job. Atl is nice, tho! Was just up there last week to visit the inlaws, who live in Peachtree City. Had dinner at Ted's one night and the Surin the next nite - yum! (I clearly miss the Atl restaurant scene Smile )

Speaking of food, we love, love, love the F&W Fest around here! Do you do any of the special events, or do you just cruise around, eating (and drinking!) your way around the world? Do you have a favorite country?

Yes, the restaurant scene is probably my favorite part about Atlanta. Many outsiders don't realize just how many outstanding restaurants there are in Atlanta. Speaking of amazing dining experiences, tonight we're going to Dante's Down the Hatch with some friends. That place is so unique, one would think it should be a restaurant at one of the Disney parks! But I digress...

In regards to F&W, I've never done any of the special events there. The past couple of years it's been kind of a "guys only" type of trip so we turn it into a party day. Kind of like you said, cruising around eating and drinking and taking it all in. Fun times! It's hard to pick a favorite country, but if I had to I would have to say Mexico. The mayan pyramid itself is amazing, but what puts it over the top is the tequila bar. We always start F&W off with a shot there and then make our way around the world.

And you? Do you have a fav?
