Eating Instructions

I don't agree with the Candy Corn part and my dinner is done 1 bite between rotations, but otherwise I thought this was pretty clever:

The one I dont agree with is the pop tart. I break it in half, and save the corners for last because they are my favorite... lol

I'm like Mase on the Pop-Tarts, but I break mine into quarters.

The last one is totally not how I do it. I'm one of those "eat one thing first until done; move to next item, eat until done; move to next item, eat until done...." I am not a multi-rotational eater as per said picture.

Ditto! I cant mix anything! Well... corn and mash potatoes I do... but I eat everything one thing at a time. With you on that one!

Jeff & Mase...I have some bad news. You're eating wrong. The correct way is one bite of each thing in proportion so that you finish them all at the same time. I'm glad I was here to correct you. You're welcome. silly

Ha! That's great! But I nibble candycorn (the obligatory 3 pieces per year) in color stages, like breaking off a little rocket Smile That's TOTALLY the way I eat Poptarts, yes...and eating a plate of food, I vary my bites. I'm all over the place. I'm a wild woman!

(And now, I will be soooo self conscious if/when I eat a plate of food with any of you.)

This is how I've been eating Pop-Tarts since they were invented, lo these many years ago:

1. Toast Pop-Tart.
2. Lay Pop-Tart on plate.
3. Using a sharp knife, cut Pop-Tart on the diagonal twice, so you have four tiny little triangle-shaped pieces.
4. Nibble each quarter, starting with a crusty corner - I don't like to end up with all crust and no filling.

My technique goes waaaayyyy back to the days before Pop-Tarts got frosting on top. So to this day, I like them with just blueberry filling and nothing on top.

I agree with most of them. However I would never toast a Pop-tart. I do break it into 4 pieces and eat the inside first. I like the crust the best so I save that for last. And I do eat one bite of each food and rotate around the plate. Sometimes I even put more than one food on my fork. I however do not want those same food mixed together on my plate.

Exactly. Some food flavours enhance each other and you'll never experience this if you don't try them together. I was once told that the perfect fork full will have a little bit of everything on the plate, that can make for a pretty big fork in with some meals.

Just think of that Earl of Sandwich Holiday sandwich with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce,& gravy all in one bite awesome its the same thing! There could be some corn on there though, or peas.

There is an unwritten rule that says food presented in a pre-combined manner is a separate category.

Once presented in individual sections, so it shall remain, and so it shall be eaten with no rotational sampling or multi-assemblage.

See note above about the unwritten rules regarding pre-combined food presentation. Those would fit into that category.

It's all very complicated. Lots of rules. Written and not.

Easy... cant stand casseroles because of that very reason. Not into shepherds pie. Now... I do eat chicken pot pies and this is how I chow on them and now that im thinking about it... yeah... lol

I get into it and eat the crust so I can get into it, and ill take a part of the crust and one thing in the pie like the chicken or carrots and such and eat it till its all gone. So the crust and one other thing...

Im hungry now, and think ill go make one now.... biggrin
