Epcot Food and Wine Fest: Favorite Foods so Far this Year

So, what's everybody loving at F&W so far this year? I've only been a couple of times so far (Wine and Dine after party doesn't count since I was nauseous Smile ) . Both have been short trips where I only got to taste a couple of things, and I have almost no pics (I keep eating before I remember to snap. Gah!) But so far, I am loving the Kahlua Pork slider from Hawaii, and the Tuna Poke gets a MaJOR thumbs up! The scallop and lobster fisherman's pie from Ireland is wonderful, too - I had a pretty big piece of lobster meat in mine. But hands down, so far this year my ab favorite has been the Greek griddled cheese with honey and pistachios! Salty sweet fabulous yum! I will be having this again and again and again. And I don't promise to share.

Here's a pic from DFB since I was goofy and didn't take one.

So - and I'm soooo sorry if you aren't getting in on this, but for those of you who are - what your faves this year?

I won't get there until the final week of the festival, so I can't help other folks pick the best eats. But I look forward to everyone else's reviews. The tuna poke was already on my list of things to try; thanks for the thumbs up.

Nope, it's just a piece of cheese, drizzled with honey, and sprinkled with pistachios. I think it's probably Haloumi cheese, which I've heard of (and I've heard of grilling it) but I hadn't tried. SO so good.

We have some other folks in the 'World right now, yes? What are all of y'all thinking about the F&W offerings while I sit here in WV? Smile

So my favorites were the shrimp tacos in Mexico, the lettuce wraps in South Korea and the lobster roll at Hops & Barley. Runners up: Kailua pork slider in Hawaii and the lobster & scallop fisherman's pie in Ireland.
