EV Charging Station or Outlets?

I'm planning a trip down to WDW in Feb. I drive a Chevy Volt (gas & electric car) and would like to be able to plug in to charge my car while I'm on vacation. I don't NEED to, I can drive it on gas but I would prefer to be able to drive it using the battery like I always do at home.

I contacted Disney and got a CM who didn't seem to know much about anything but after putting me on hold for a while let me know that there is nowhere for me to plug in my car on property. I find this a little ironic because .... Test Track: Brought to you by Chevrolet! Annndd there are and have been Volts on display in Epcot for some time. Anyway...

I am wondering if anyone here knows of either a public charging station nearby OR of any exterior outlets in parking lots (often found on light posts or even on the outside of the building). We're staying at CSR so if that would be the ideal location to charge in, but I'm open to anything else.

Thanks!

This was my first response: Hrmmm... I really thought that I had seen some. confused Who did you contact at Disney? I have found over the years that the folks on the other end of the phone don't always know what they're talking about.

I really suggest that you give them a call back (or a couple calls back) and see if you can find out more. Call the hotel and have them transfer you to the valet on duty, ask them. Call the Disney Car Care Center and ask them. Call and talk to someone in charge of parking things, not just random Guest Services. If you need help finding the numbers I'll look them up for you.

It really is annoying at times, but the right hand of Disney doesn't always seem to know what the left is doing.

This is my research finding: This conversation on the gm-volt boards from April/May seems to suggest that the only charging spots are located in Fort Wilderness. Not sure if you can call there and force the issue or not. http://gm-volt.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-13391.html

Thanks for your reply. The CM who first answered put me on hold to get someone from parking on the other line. I also sent an email and got a canned response saying they don't have them but are always looking to improve things. I'm going to look into the Car Care Center more.
