Fantasmic Dining Package

I've never done Fantasmic before and want to add it to our trip at the end of August. My question is - Is it worth booking this package if it is going to be an expected low crowd day? Both crowd prediction sites I'm using are giving HS a predicted 3/10 crowd level? I like the idea of having a guaranteed seat but do they run out of space even on low crowd days?

Any other hints or tips?
Thanks

Yes it can still fill up and if it is a low crowd day, then there may be only one showing of Fantasmic. I would book the package because you get the best seating in the house.

We booked the package one time and I didn't think that the seating area was anything that special. Since then, we've always done walkup about 30 minutes before the show regardless of the time of the year and we have yet to be turned away. If you're willing to get a little damp, the splash zone down in front has usually been available (even as close as 15-20 minutes before show time) and it's the only spot where I've gotten pictures to come out. Personally I'd just go a little bit early and then eat wherever you want. The premiums on those packages are pretty high.

Personally, I like avoiding the masses trying to get in. FP+ or dining package is a big positive, in my book. Now, if I could just figure out a way to avoid the crowds on the way out too...

Back in the day, they used to sit you on the side. Now you get the center section with the dining package.

Exiting Fantasmic is one of the worst bottlenecks in Disney.

I'm thinking of booking a Fastpass + for this - are the seating areas for this just as good as the dining package, and is it in the splash zone, as I'll be taking my camera?
