They have been running tests all year on it. MrHub just posted on another thread that he was picked to give it a try, so I look forward to hearing about his experience!
It looks like FastPass+ is getting even closer to launching. Look what I had pop up when I signed into MyDisneyExperience today.
I just signed in and got that too. I'll have to sign in later and read more about it when I more time.
Disney must be getting closer because I received the same screen when I opened My Disney Experience. I'll check into when I have more time. Busy busy today!
Well that's a positive. Maybe they have heard that 3 aren't just enough.
It also depends on the park unless they decided to change it.
Ugh. This just makes me glad that I go in late January/early February & don't use fastpass very much. If I'm solo I usually have no idea what park I'm going to till I get in a line at the bus stop so there's no way I'm going to be making the fastpass equivalent of an adr months, weeks, days or even hours in advance.
So, how will Fastpass + work with parades?
I'm guessing it just guarantees you see the parade or show like LMA.
I did read that they ate going to fastpass BOG for lunch. I could get down with that!!
Our Fast+ experience with BOG was a total bust from the start. Definitely a lot of kinks to work out of this.

Oh no! So sad to hear that.
You did tell cast members about your experience with that right? Only way for it to get better is if you guys are honestly telling the cms how it's working.

Believe me Mandy I know that, but truthfully no one seemed to care and I would have thought I would have received some sort of questionnaire or survey afterwards, but nothing.
My leaders keep telling us to look out for guests testing the magic bands and stuff to try to get feedback then let them know what the guests are saying.
New testing with fastpass+ is happening at Animal Kingdom.

For some reason that link does not want to work. You have to copy the whole link and paste it in your browser for it to work. Thats weird.
I really don't know how to fix it. Part of the end of the link didn't go bold.

Yeah I tried fixing it for you but I can't make it work either.

So I guess we'll have to just copy and paste it then. I can't find any other source with this.
Trying to recopy the link.

I tried a couple of things too but am getting the same results.
I wonder if it's because of the length of the link. I copied the link into a word document and was able to get to the site from there.
I just tried highlighting the entire link, right clicked on it and then clicked on 'open in new link' and lo and behold it worked for me so you may try that. it is easy.

Yeah, I can't get it to work either. It's the apostrophe.

From WDWMagic
FastPass+ is moving into new territory next week as for the first it will be available to all guests visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Starting December 18 2013, the latest test will allow all guests to use FastPass+, including those staying offsite and not in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. During the test, regular paper FASTPASS will not be available, giving guests the choice to use FastPass+ or the standby line.
Non-resort guests will not be able to make FastPass+ reservations ahead of time, or using My Disney Experience. Mirroring the functionality provided by FASTPASS, offsite guests will need to visit a FastPass+ kiosk to make the reservations on the day they visit. MagicBands will not be available for non-resort guests. Instead, they will use their RFID enabled ticket media to access the FastPass+ kiosks and touch sensors.
Resort guests will continue to be able to make advance reservations using My Disney Experience. As with current testing, guests will be able to secure 3 FastPass+ reservations for that day.
The attractions available for FastPass+ are:

Thanks guys.
Wow, there is an awful lot of FP attractions... A lot more than I realised!!
Almost every attraction and show has a fastpass+ option.
We used the FP+ option for two shows - one for Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and one for Festival of the Lion King. The FP+ gives you a return window and we discovered (Mandy, can you confirm) that the only way that you get any benefit at all with these passes is to be in the FP+ line prior to the start of that seating window. The FP+ only guarantees you a seat it does not reserve a particular area or give you preferred viewing. Not realizing this, we showed up at Indiana Jones near the end of our window and were disappointed to find that we were in general seating. Once we understood the procedure, we showed up prior to the start of the seating window for Festival of the Lion King and for us, this was a great use of a FP+. The only big name rides we were doing at AK were Kilimanjaro Safaris and Dinosaur, so it wasn't a "waste" of a FP+ and all of the FP+ people were let in before any of the standby people. I would fast pass a show again, but I will always show up early from now on!
Be good at something. It makes you valuable. Have something to bring to the table because that will make you more welcome. --Randy Pausch
